Cancellation of the CPEDI*** of Deauville

Following the tragic evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Handi Equi’ Compet association has taken the difficult decision to cancel the CPEDI*** of Deauville, International Para-Equestrian Dressage Competition, scheduled from 14th to 17 May 2020.

" Renouncing to the organization of the CPEDI*** of Deauville is unfortunately the only option we have. The Covid-19 pandemic has reached dramatic proportions and we have to take the necessary measures to protect our athletes, some of which are particularly fragile, but also their relatives, our volunteers and the public, expresses Eric Estrier, President of Handi Equi’ Compet association. It’s a disappointment for all, because this show is an important meeting for french and foreign riders and we were going to celebrate its 10th edition in 2020. It is only a matter of time, this decision does not compromise our motivation and attachment to this event. In the name of Handi Equi’ Compet, I express my support to all persons affected directly or indirectly by this pandemic. I want to thank our partners and all people who were invested in the organization of our competition. "
