This Sunday 7th April, it was the third and last day of competition at the 9th Deauville CPEDI***, organised by the Handi Equi' Compet association. An event supported for a number of years by the Normandy region, as Malika Cherrière, regional counsellor, responsible for the equine sector. Explained, “ The CPEDI*** at Deauville is of importance to the area, the equine industry and sport. The French team and other national teams travel over French territory and Normandy welcomes them. Each year the region makes a huge financial effort to accompany them and make sure that this sporting event is one of the best in Europe. We work in transverse manner with the department and the local towns to ensure the continuity of Deauville’s CPEDI*** ”.
Today saw the best performing competitors riding their Freestyle tests. At only a few months from this year’s European Championships (Rotterdam, The Netherlands, August 2019), it was the opportunity for some to present their new compositions in front of the judges.
